Charley was caught in a rapidly changing fire while searching for a victim in the basement of a home in January 2015. Captain Cashen, a 30 year fire service veteran shares his experience, and lessons learned from this incident.

Captain Charley Cashen shares another title to my grandchildren, as “Grandpa Charley”. He is a Humble Hero in our eyes, and my entire extended family is blessed to have him in our lives. We pray that all Firefighters and First Responders return home safely on the wings of their angels as well.
